    Star Project

    The largest talent agency in Asia and known to be the home of the legends. Star Project is indeed a star-studded agency that public nicknamed the agency as the Star Maker, a homage to its name. The agency operates its own comprehensive entertainment business including artist development, record label services, talent agency services, music production, music publishing, event management, and concert production for their artists.

    Studio Mint

    One of the largest agencies in Asia, Studio Mint operates as a talent agency, record label, music production and event production. They also cooperate with Iconic magazine. Established by Jeong Kiyeong (a well-known action star worldwide) in 1987. Studio Mint soon grow with former colleagues transferring into the agency. Known as the creative outlet and releasing hundreds of hits over the years, Studio Mint is considered as the Future of Asian Entertainment.

    NaNu Entertainment

    Former Kick Media, NaNu Entertainment faced challenges to keep the company afloat due to bankruptcy and scandals from former artists. Due to the success of their first music group, NaNu Entertainment continued and started creating joint management contract with Star Project to keep the company up. Soon, NaNu Entertainment created worldwide record as the first artist to hold #1 song in the world, making them one of the most known and sought after agency in Asia.

    Indie Casting

    With a few rejections from agencies, these talents never gave up on their dream to reach the top of the pyramid. Indie Casting was formed for talents who strives after failures for auditions or talents that goes freelancing. Indie Casting is a record label that releases media from indie acts.

  • The Careers

    Acting

    This branch of talent focuses more on getting into projects. Thus, you must be active in getting into roles whether it may be commercial films, extras, minimal roles or lead roles. Your roles reflects on your current rank and to get higher roles, you must be known unless the director is determined to hire a lesser known faces to their production.

     

    There will be auditions to be posted along with the needed requirements to have high chances of getting hired. Every passed audition will add to your CASTING★POINTS (it will serve as your monetary, as well as your experience points).

     

    If you got higher ranks at Power Rankings, there are possibilities that production directors will personally contact you for a role and magazine for interviews or photoshoots.
     

    Singing

    This branch as three divisions; Soloist and Idol. All started the same as trainees and your agency will groom you to what you are going to be once you debut. There will be tests for you to endure to be selected whether you are going to be a soloist, be in a band or become part of a pop group.

     

    There will be a special grading system that will determine whether you are a soloist-material or will be part of the group. The grading system will monitor all your participations for trainee practices and lessons by your agency. However, each agency has their own grading system. Thus, if you are planning to become an idol or soloist to a higher agency, effort is a must.

     

    For indie acts, they won’t be receiving any grading system and they have the freedom to release their material but with CASTING★DOLS’ HQ approval.
     

    Modeling

    This branch of talent has no such training. However, there will be auditions for you to be active in fashion runways, commercial films and music video appearances. As you keep being active, magazines may contact you for photoshoot gigs.

     

    Modeling branch is often used as the start-up for trainees to gain minimal exposure before debut.
     

  • Casting 101

    CASTING★POINTS (CP)

    Without points, you can’t venture to anything. CPs are the basis for Power Rankings and the more you earn points, the more perks you’re going to unlock. Such as raising your rank and venturing to another branch of talent. It also serves as your experience points during your whole stay at CASTING★DOLS.

     

    The way to get more points are to participate in auditions and releasing music. Every activity you produced will be rewarded with points. Also, the HQ will also hold special events and games for more points to be given to those who are struggling to get on their feet.

    Power Ranking

    Power Rankings is CASTING★DOLS’ leaderboards who are the top superstars of today or in short, popularity rankings. The rankings has 3 branches; acting, music and modeling. Each of them has their own leaderboards and talents can venture to another if they are allowed by their agency.

     

    Perks of being part of the leaderboards are getting called often for projects, guestings and photoshoots from different entertainment companies. There are high chances of getting into dramas without auditioning (but still depends on the required role as directors and production directors can decline popular talents for a newer and lesser known faces).

     

    Aside from getting ranked, talents has also labels depending on their popularity. There are 4 stages of popularity; S-lister, A-lister, B-lister and rookie (for older talents, unknowns).

    To enter the rankings, you must accumulate tons of points to raise your rank by participating in projects, creating music, strutting the runway and garnering more fans! However, you may also fall off the rankings due to misdoings such as scandals.

    Dual Branch

    There are times talents wanted to explore more into the entertainment industry such as acting as well as being an idol. It can happen! The HQ will consider this depends on your overall ranking and CASTING★POINTS as you need to unlock such perk. However, if you wanted to collaborate with another artist, the artist must agree and sign the collaborative contract that should be passed to the HQ.
